Today's entry is from Susan L.

The year was 1998. I had my heart broken by my long time internet boyfriend. I logged onto webtv and was hosting my daily board. I saw a new guy come in. One I had never talked to before. I calmly typed hello Roger23.

He ignored me and he left the chatroom.

The next day I logged back in and thought nothing of it. Next I hear a bing and he logged back in. I said Hi once and he ignored me again. I was irritated and then started im'ing him hello. Finally he responded. That hello turned into a 4 hour conversation. I said goodnight and went to bed.
Next morning I woke up. Oh no I realized I forgot to get his email. I was so sad. I ran to my board without hosting and asked if anyone had it. Thank god his friend did and I submitted an email. We chatted that way for 3 weeks.

Somewhere the gods had us cursed. He sent me his number and a phone card but he typed the wrong number. I was devestated. He quickly realized his mistake and I called him. His voice was the voice of an angel.I was head over heels in love.

Fast forward to December of 98. I talked to him in November and told him I had to meet him. i had never met anyone online before. I purchased my plane ticket. I jumped on the plane shaking and praying he would be there. In the terminal at DIA he was there in his boots and jeans and yes it was love.

That is just the beginning of our love story. 9.5 years later we are married for almost 9 years with 2 beautiful children. I am lucky I found my soulmate when i was not looking. I love him more and more every day.
